Welcome back to the Collective. The first week of June, 2025 NYC Tech Week by a16z, is the set to be the most significant in the history of our company.

It’s not just about the amount of events we’re putting on, though (8). Or the amount of RSVPs we have currently for all of them (500+).

It’s about how this week brings it all together.

This Tech Week, we at Coeus Collective seek depth of thought and clarity of purpose, and aim to do our best to grow this community not based on hype but instead based on intention.

This is our magnum opus. We waited too long to prioritize events in our workflow, but after a few great ones in the past few months, it’s time to take this community IRL.

After all, from the beginning, Coeus Collective has not just been about content. It has always been about curation.

What conversations are we not having? What kind of rooms do we actually need more of? What makes someone leave an event feeling activated, not exhausted?

So for New York Tech Week, we have built a lineup of events (all on the official Tech Week calendar approved by the a16z organizing team) that reflects the soul of our work.

Events that are not just social, but substantial. Sessions that challenge you to think a little differently about what it means to build, to invest, to show up.

If you have ever wanted to understand what we stand for, or what kind of founder-first community we are building, this is the week. And here is the blueprint.

This New York Tech Week, we are what’s happening in NYC. So, we decided it would be a good idea to take you through the what and the why behind what we have going on.

Of course you’re invited to everything. RSVP to all events here.

Brand Blueprint: The Founder’s Guide in the Age of AI

đź—“ Monday, June 2 at 2 PM
📍 The Front Yard at Pace University, 15 Beekman Street, Manhattan, NY

We open Tech Week with a conversation about identity, meaning, and what it takes to stand out in the age of generative content. This is not about logos or landing pages. It is about resonance.

Brand Blueprint: The Founder’s Guide in the Age of AI, developed in partnership with Collective Design Agency, brings together two back-to-back sessions exploring how artificial intelligence is transforming storytelling, design, and founder identity. The first session, Algorithmic Authenticity: How AI is Redefining Brand Strategy for the Digital Native, is hosted by An Bui, Co-Founder of Collective Design Agency, and features Julia Kolodkina of Aliiiens, Riccardo Valsecchi of EVILCREATIVES, and Natalyia Eidelman of PVRPOS MARKETING. These are creatives and founders who are building brands that feel boldly human in an increasingly synthetic world.

The second session, The Functional AI Framework: Tools, Tactics, and Measurable Transformation, is hosted by our Co-Founder Antonio DiMeglio, and includes Katie Perry of Ursa Major Media, Max Rivera, Angel Investor and former Global Agency Partnerships lead at Snap Inc, and An Bui of Collective Design Agency (on the panel this time) to round out the discussion. This conversation is about tactical transformation: how AI is already changing brand ops, workflows, and decision making.

We already have more than 240 people confirmed to attend. If you care about building something people remember, this is the room. RSVP here!

Coeus Collective Pitch Showcase Presented by Seedlegals

đź—“ Tuesday, June 3 at 6 PM
📍 The Front Yard at Pace University, 15 Beekman Street, Manhattan, NY

This is one of our proudest formats. The Coeus Collective Pitch Showcase is not a competition. It is set to be a startup-building engine.

Developed in partnership with Seedlegals and supported by J.P. Morgan Innovation Economy, we will feature 10 to 12 early-stage startups from across industries. Each has been carefully selected to participate in a mentorship-driven experience. These founders are not just pitching to win something. They are showing up to be seen, challenged, and supported.

Our mentorship bench includes some of the most respected leaders in the venture ecosystem.

  • David S. Rose, Managing Partner of Rose Tech Ventures and Founder and Chairman Emeritus of New York Angels

  • Norma A. PadrĂłn, PhD, Vice President at J.P. Morgan

  • Kindra Tatarsky, Partner at Cerity Partners Ventures

  • David Kullmann, Venture Partner at Late Stage Capital

  • RenĂ© BastĂłn, Venture Partner at Covenant Venture Capital

  • David Attermann, Head of Web3 Investments at M31 Capital

  • Anisha Kothapa, Venture Partner at GoingVC Partners

  • Paul Brezovsky III, Venture Scout at Legendary Ventures

This is an Avengers-level dream team, y’all.

Each mentor will be paired with one or more finalists prior to the event, offering advice before and during the live showcase. We are not just curating a stage: we are curating a journey.

Over 100 guests are already registered. Whether you are an investor, operator, or startup enthusiast, we hope to see you there. RSVP here!

Aperitivo Night for Founders & VCs

đź—“ Thursday, June 5 at 6 PM
📍 La Caverna, 122-124 Rivington Street, Manhattan, NY

This is not networking. This is connection.

Aperitivo Night is designed for the kind of energy you cannot schedule: spontaneous conversations, shared ambition, and the joy of being in a room where people are actually listening. We are gathering founders, investors, and ecosystem allies from around the world, with a special welcome to our European friends visiting New York for Tech Week.

This event is powered by Aluminati, the world’s most customisable online community platform, and co-organized with New York Business Fellowship and Loopini.

The crowd already reflects the kind of cross-cultural gathering we believe in. Whether you are early-stage or later-stage, curious or connected, this is the night to find your people.

Spritzes encouraged. Ideas welcome. RSVP here!

Founder & VC Yoga

đź—“ Wednesday, June 4 at 3 PM
📍 Souk Yoga Studio, 12 West 27th Street, Manhattan, NY

In a week full of business cards, elbow bumps, and elevator pitches, sometimes the most important room is one where no one is talking.

This is our space for stillness. Founder and VC Yoga is for those who want to reconnect with themselves and reset during the busiest week in tech. Whether you are new to yoga or a regular practitioner, this all-levels class is for you.

Hosted in partnership with CleanSport, a startup on a mission to clean up the fitness industry (literally) with sustainable and skin-safe disinfectants, especially for porous surfaces like yoga mats. This session is all about balance. The kind of balance that lasts long after the mat is rolled up.

It is one hour that we truly think can shift your entire week: RSVP here.

Founder & VC Open Mic Podcasting

đź—“ Throughout the Day on Tuesday, June 3; Thursday, June 5; Friday, June 6
📍 The Front Yard at Pace University, One Pace Plaza, Manhattan, NY

During three days of Tech Week, we are inviting select founders and VCs to sit down with us for rapid 15-minute podcast interviews. These recordings may be featured on our YouTube channel and/or the Coeus Collective Podcast, which has already hosted guests like former Y Combinator President Geoff Ralston, OVO Fund’s Eric Chen, and founders from POSH, Deeptune, and Series.

This is not about perfection. It is about presence! Do not prepare a pitch or polish a narrative. Just be real, reflective, and ready to share what you have learned or where you are going.

Submissions are already open and we’ve already gotten way more interest than available slots. If selected, we will personally confirm your RSVP and send you a link to book your session.

This is one of our favorite things we do. Come tell your story: apply here!

Welcome to the Collective

If you’re new here: welcome! This newsletter is written by Coeus Collective Co-Founders Antonio DiMeglio and Leon Li.

Coeus Collective is a founder-powered media and community platform elevating the most innovative minds in entrepreneurship, technology, and venture capital. Through podcasts, events, and digital media storytelling, we help founders and VCs develop their audiences of builders and innovators. Past events have featured Daniel Lubetzky (KIND Snacks, Shark Tank), Michael Baum (Splunk), and Siya Raj Purohit (OpenAI).

Typically, this newsletter revolves around an idea we can’t stop thinking about (like The Dopamine Economy), a behind-the-scenes look into what our team is working on (like this article about our live podcast recording with Siya Raj Purohit of OpenAI), or even a deep-dive into an iconic company or individual in our industry (as we did in our Icons Series: IBM article). Sometimes, we’ll use it for our “What’s Happening in NYC” series to highlight IRL events that we’re excited about, like we did today.

Our goal is to provide a unique perspective for a community of Founders & VCs who read in between the headlines. We hope to see you here in the inbox and at our events this New York Tech Week! RSVP to all of our events here.

See you Monday,
