Welcome back to the Collective. This week, we're exploring a theme that's close to our hearts: student entrepreneurship. After all, meeting each other while running a startup in college is how we met. As we begin to publish conversations with successful college founders and university leaders, we're reminded of the unique advantages and challenges that come with starting a business while still in school. Let’s start with this: no matter what your outcome is, when it comes to starting a business in college, the journey is always worth more than the destination.
Also, with today being Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Inauguration Day in the US, we encourage the US government (and all governments around the globe) to prioritize building an education landscape that encourages innovation and prosperity for all. We’ll all be better off if innovators are empowered and prioritized.
